$6,530.00 – $8,335.00 per month plus a comprehensive benefits package.

We are seeking a dynamic County Librarian to serve in an appointed capacity to plan, direct, manage, and oversee the activities and operations of the County Library; performs professional library work involving reference, adult services, and children’s services; coordinate assigned activities with other county departments and outside agencies; and provide highly responsible and complex administrative support to the Board of Supervisors.

Qualifications:

Education:  Master of Library Science degree from an American Library Association accredited college or university.

License: Possession of, or ability to obtain, a California driver’s license.

Experience:  Five years of increasingly responsible professional library experience including two years of administrative and supervisory experience.
