Los Angeles Superior Court seeks a highly motivated leader capable of directing and overseeing the management and administration of the non-judicial operations of the Court including execution of statutory duties, and allocation of resources in a manner that maximizes efficiency, and meets the needs of the public. This is an at-will, executive position; the Court Executive Officer serves at the pleasure of the judges of the Superior Court of California, County of Los Angeles


A Bachelor of Arts or Science degree, with 10 years of highly responsible managerial experience, 5 years of which must have involved direct responsibility for financial, budgetary, personnel and labor relations, information technology and public relations in a large court or other large governmental agency.  Candidates from the private sector with comparable experience will be considered.  The applicant must be a citizen of the United States and must have or obtain a valid California Class C driver’s license or the ability to use an alternative method of transportation when necessary to carry out job-related essential functions.
