Salary Information: II – $8,158 – $9,919/Mo., III – $9,383 - $11,404/Mo.

This recruitment is being conducted to fill one position in the County Counsel’s Office, to be filled at either the II or III level. The Deputy County Counsel – Juvenile Dependency position represents a great opportunity to work in beautiful Sonoma wine country and join a collegial team of attorneys and staff committed to public service and quality of life. In this exciting role, you will provide legal counsel to and advise the Human Services Department’s Family, Youth, and Children’s Services (FYC) Division regarding dependency cases and confidentiality of records.

Qualifications:

II Level – Experience: One year of legal experience practicing civil or governmental law as a licensed attorney.

III Level – Experience: Two years of legal experience practicing civil law as a licensed attorney, at least one year of which was with a public agency performing duties comparable to a Deputy County Counsel II; or comparable experience in private practice.

License (both levels): Current active membership in the State Bar of California
