1. $31.41/hr.       (II)      $41.22 /hr.

Description:

Calaveras County is recruiting for a limited term Deputy County Counsel to support our County Counsel’s office for up to two years.  The Office of County Counsel provides legal advice and representation to the Board of Supervisors, County departments, and special districts. 

This position will have primary responsibility for work related to the Medical Cannabis Cultivation Registration.

Qualifications:

Deputy County Counsel I: Active membership in the State Bar of California

Deputy County Counsel II: (in addition to the above) two years of professional legal experience at a level equivalent to the Deputy County Counsel I.
