Salary:

$107,598 – $130,790 Annually, plus an excellent benefits package

Description:

San Joaquin County is seeking an experienced and dedicated professional to join the senior management team to provide strong leadership and administrative oversight of the Human Services Agency (HSA), Aging and Community Services Division. The incumbent will oversee the Aging and Community Services Division and should possess a strong administrative background and understanding of adult social services programs. The ideal candidate will possess experience working with grant fund accounts, strong communication, presentation and interpersonal skills, and an ability to maintain effective working relationships with constituents and stakeholders including Community Advisory Boards, elected officials, external service providers, staff and the general public.

Qualifications:

Possession of a master’s degree from an accredited college or university with a major in public or business administration, social work, or a closely related field and five years of managerial experience in a public social service agency organization or program, including two years in a large-scale or highly specialized operation or program are highly desirable.
