Description:

San Joaquin County is recruiting for a Deputy Director of Purchasing and Support Services. The position is responsible for planning, directing, organizing, and administering internal support services to County departments. The division includes Procurement, Duplicating, Mail Room and Records Management.

Qualifications:

Desirable Qualifications are a Master’s degree in business administration, public administration, materiel management, economics, finance, or a related field and five years of progressively responsible administrative or management experience involving public sector purchasing, buying or acquisition, including two years of supervisory experience. Current certification from on of three following agencies; (CPM), (CPSM) or (ISM). There are additional certifications that may be accepted. You are invited to review on our website.
