Qualifications:

DDAII: A Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school and one year of experience as an Attorney I with Sutter County; experience as an attorney in a District Attorney’s office, County Counsel, or Public Defender’s office in another public agency may be considered equivalent for appointment or promotion in the corresponding District Attorney’s, County Counsel, or Public Defender’s Office in Sutter County, or any combination of education and experience that provides equivalent knowledge, skills, and abilities.

DDAIII: A Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school and two years’ experience as an Attorney II with Sutter County; experience as an attorney in a District Attorney’s office, County Counsel, or Public Defender’s office in another public agency may be considered equivalent for appointment or promotion in the corresponding District Attorney’s, County Counsel, or Public Defender’s Office in Sutter County, or any combination of education and experience that provides equivalent knowledge, skills, and abilities.
