Salary:

Level I: $ 4672 – $5679/monthly
Level II: $5426 – $6595/monthly
Level III: $5995 – $7287/monthly
Senior Level $6624 – 8052
Plus an excellent benefits and retirement package (CalPERS Retirement Benefit formula of 2.7% @ 55 for individuals identified as “classic members” pursuant to the provisions of California’s 2013 Pension Reform Act). This position may be subject to a Furlough Program which will result in a reduction of the advertised salary.

If so, consider an opportunity with the MADERA COUNTY DISTRICT ATTORNEY’S OFFICE.   The District Attorney’s Office is responsible for criminal prosecution of all violations of State and County laws, as well as civil prosecutions of certain violations of State and County laws.

Qualifications:

Level I requires some professional legal experience; Level II requires one (1) year of legal experience comparable to a Deputy District Attorney I with Madera County; Level III requires one (1) year of legal experience comparable to a Deputy District Attorney II with Madera County. Senior Level requires three (3) years of legal experience comparable to that of Deputy District Attorney I/II/III with Madera County; one (1) year of which must have been gained at the Deputy District Attorney III, or equivalent level.  In addition, all levels require graduation from an accredited school of law, active membership in the California State Bar; and possession of, or ability to obtain, an appropriate, valid California Driver’s License.
