$133,704 – $162,516 Annually

Description:

The County of Yolo is currently seeking a Director for the divisions of Planning, Public Works, Integrated Waste Management, and Environmental Services.  The incumbent in this position is responsible for determining policy for multiple divisions/organizational units, managing personnel and budgets, developing programs, and formulating department operational objectives. Critical functions of the position will include serving as the interface between the department and the Board of Supervisors, developing effective working relationships with other departments and outside agencies, and ensuring that the department meets their goals and objectives as defined as part of the tactical plan for the County.

Qualifications:

The minimum qualifications for this position are any combination of experience and education equivalent to graduation from an accredited college or university in a relevant field, and substantial leadership and management experience in a public works, environmental health, transportation, or community development and planning field that reflect attainment of the required knowledge and abilities.
