Description:

Under policy direction of the County Administrative Officer and within State and Federal Laws and Rules, the Director of Finance is the ex-officio County Auditor-Controller, Treasurer Tax Collector who plans, organizes, coordinates, manages and administers the County’s Department of Finance; provides strategic oversight and innovative services to meet and address the evolving financial and fiscal needs of Alpine County; assigns and coordinates professional and administrative activities of the department’s staff; and performs other related duties as assigned.
