Salary:

$133,412 to $186,796 annually

Description:

Under administrative direction of the County of Ventura County Executive Officer, the Director General Services Agency is fully accountable for the management of centralized support services for the County including planning, organizing, directing, evaluating and administering related services in support of all County agencies, departments and special districts and directing Park Management services including development, maintenance, and operations.

Qualifications:

Comprehensive experience which has led to the acquisition of the required knowledge, skills and abilities. The required knowledge, skills and abilities can also be obtained by completion of a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Public Administration or a related field with four (4) or more years of progressively responsible leadership and management experience including substantial program, line, and budgetary responsibility. Required are the abilities to obtain and maintain a valid California driver license, demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and effectively and dynamically lead teams to meet specific goals, both operational and strategic.
