Description:

The County of Siskiyou (Yreka, CA) is seeking an individual to oversee functions of the Health & Human Services Agency that includes Social Services, Mental Health, Public Health and Emergency Services Divisions. The Agency has a combined annual budget of approx. $37 million and 220 full-time employees. Bachelor’s Degree is required in public administration or related field. Five years of experience as a department head in a similar agency required.

Qualifications:

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Possession of a Bachelor’s Degree is required in public or business administration, social services or a closely related field. Five to seven years of experience in a high level management or Assistant Department Head level or related experience in a similar agency is desired.

A Master’s Degree is desirable.
