Description:

Sacramento County is recruiting nationally for an innovative and strategic executive leader to work across boundaries with multiple stakeholders and community partners to promote high quality, integrated health services for Sacramento County. This senior executive position is directly responsible for approximately 1,017 full-time staff and will oversee a 2017-18 budget of $528 million. Reporting to the Deputy County Executive – Social Services, this position functions as the appointing authority of the Department and is responsible for all divisions within the Department including Behavioral Health, Environmental Management, Primary Health, Public Health, Correctional Health, and Budget and Administration.

Qualifications:

This position requires a Bachelor’s degree and 2 or more years of executive management experience directing public services organizations and/or 2 or more years of experience with a Sacramento County Social Services Department.
