Salary:

$138,588 to $168,480 DOQ plus excellent benefits, including CalPERS retirement.

Description:

Napa County is recruiting for a Director of Housing and Homeless Services. Functioning as the Executive Director of the Napa County Housing Authority, per the directive of the County Executive Officer, the Director of Housing and Homeless Services is responsible for overseeing the implementation of affordable housing projects; recommending development projects and financing options for the Housing Fund to increase and improve the supply of affordable housing; recommending acquisition or rehabilitation of real property within policy and budget limitations; and assisting in coordinating projects to address housing needs as set forth in the Housing element of the County’s General Plan.

Qualifications:

The position requires a Bachelor’s degree plus 6 years of progressively responsible experience in housing, community development, real estate development, housing or homeless services, including four years of administrative and supervisory responsibility, preferably in a government organization. Real Estate license preferred.
