The annual salary for the position is up to $214,992.

Description:

Internationally known for its fine wines, exciting restaurants, and world-class resorts, Napa County (pop. 142,000) is currently recruiting for a Director of Human Resources. The Director of Human Resources is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day management of the Human Resources Division within the County Executive’s Office. This is “at will” position reporting directly to the County Executive Officer will assume full management responsibility for all Human Resources Division services and activities including employee recruitment and examination, classification and pay, employer-employee relations, training, employee benefits, and affirmative action.

Qualifications:

The position requires a Bachelor’s degree and 10 years of progressively responsible human resources administration experience including 5 years of management and administrative responsibility. Human resource experience as a generalist in California is highly valued.
