The County of Santa Barbara Human Resources Department is seeking a Director of Organizational Transformation & Leadership who has an entrepreneurial mindset, and has the desire to transform the County’s training and development program into a modern, enterprising culture of learning.

Qualifications:

The Ideal Candidate will have:
• A Master’s degree in HR Management, Organizational Psychology, Organizational Development, Business Administration, Public Administration or other related Human Resources field,
• At least ten years of experience in a middle management leadership position in the Organizational Development and/or Training & Development field,
• A proven ability to interact and appropriately influence transformational change at all levels of the organization,
• ATD (formerly ASTD) Certification; Certified Professional in Learning and Performance (CPLP), or similar certification focused in training and organizational development, or
• A combination of training, education, and experience that is equal to all of the qualifications listed above.
