$172,930 — $261,743

Description:

The Director has full responsibility as the chief executive of the Department of Regional Planning, including the development and maintenance of the General Plan, area and community plans, administration of County subdivision and zoning ordinances, continued development and maintenance of the GIS, and providing support to the Regional Planning Commission.

Qualifications:

This position has a minimum requirement of five years of progressively responsible management experience in a governmental or private planning organization, agency or firm, including at least two years of senior managerial experience in a position requiring a thorough knowledge and understanding of planning theory, principles and practices, and oversight for areas such as: land use planning, transportation policy, zoning administration, or subdivision administration.
