Salary: 

$158,421.02 – $203,278.40 Annually, DOE

Description:

The County of Santa Clara seeks a Director, Planning, Business Development and Managed Care Contracts. This position requires an individual with executive level leadership and management skills, along with critical thinking, decision-making, and communication skills. This position is responsible for overseeing the development of business plans for the enterprise, development and implementation of revenue-enhancing business and commercial strategies, gathering and analysis of business intelligence, developing and retaining commercial business opportunities, expanding business markets and overseeing managed care contracting across the enterprise. The Director addresses fiscal integrity of contracts and minimizes risks. The Director reports to the Deputy County Executive and Executive Director of the Santa Clara Valley Health & Hospital System.

Qualifications:

Typically, the ideal candidate would possess education and experience equivalent to a Master’s degree in health care administration, business or public administration or a related field and approximately five (5) years of experience in the planning, development and marketing of HHS programs and services. Additional health system or hospital experience may be substituted for education.
