Description:

The County of Nevada, California, located in the scenic Sierra foothills, seeks a Director of Public Health to provide services and oversee activities for Nevada County including planning, organizing and directing the programs and personnel of the Public Health Department. 

Qualifications:

Minimum requirements include a Master’s degree in Public Health or related field, and four years experience administering a public health program with broad managerial responsibility for major divisions of the program. Also requires enrollment in the Nevada County Leadership institute with completion within one year of date of hire, and enrollment in the CSAC Senior Executive Credential Program with completion within two years of hire.
