Description:

The County of Nevada, California, located in the scenic Sierra foothills, seeks a Director of Public Works to plan, organize and direct the County’s Public Works functions, and to provide expert professional assistance to the Board of Supervisors and County management staff in areas of responsibility.

Qualifications:

Minimum requirements include a Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, and five years’ experience in road operations, engineering or surveying, two years of which were in a supervisory capacity; or a Bachelor’s degree in public or business administration or related field, and six years’ experience in private civil engineering or public works agencies, two years of which were in a supervisory capacity.
