Salary:

$119,080.00 – $144,913.60 Annually

Description:

The Director Workforce Investment under administrative direction of the Board of Supervisors, County Executive Office and the Workforce Development Board (WDB), to plan, organize, manage, direct, and supervise the multiple and diverse activities, programs and services of the Worknet of Merced County – America’s Job Center of California and represent the department with Federal and State agencies, the Board of Supervisors, education and training providers.

Qualifications:

Experience:
Broad and extensive work experience in the development, implementation, and administration of employment and training programs, including at least two (2) years of experience in a management or supervisory position.

Education:
Graduation from an accredited four (4) year college or university with major in public administration, business administration, or other field related to the development of employment and training programs is highly desirable.

License:
Possess and maintain a valid California Driver’s License.
