Salary:

$58,472 – $71,073 Annually + 9% Special Assignment Pay

Description:

The current vacancy is in Supervisorial District 5. The anticipated appointment date of the successful candidate will occur in December 2018.

The District Chief of Staff works under the direction of a member of the Board of Supervisors to perform a wide variety of legislative and other specialized research and analysis; serves as a constituent liaison; and provides assistance to a Board member or members. The successful candidate will be expected to independently perform a wide variety of complex and confidential duties involving the exercise of independent judgment and initiative.

Qualifications:

Experience:

Some administrative and analytical experience within a local government environment, involving the collection, compilation, and analysis of data.

Education:

Equivalent to a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with major course work in public administration, business management, finance administration, or a related field.

Travel to different sites and locations is required.
