Salary range: $2,228.46—$2,986.34 bi-weekly.

The County of Butte seeks a qualified individual as Emergency Response Manager (Class Title-Program Manager, Community Services). Under limited supervision, develops, manages, and coordinates community and emergency medical services programs and staff to provide emergency management, and health prevention and treatment services to county residents.
Required Education, Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree in Behavioral or Health Science, Journalism, Public Health, Education, Behavioral, Life or Health Science, Environmental Sciences, Mass Communications, English, Graphic Arts, Psychology, or Social Work from an accredited college or university and three (3) years of experience in the County of Butte as a Supervising, Health Education Specialist.
• Four (4) years of experience providing staff development, training, emergency management or emergency medical management, or education services, including two (2) years in a supervisory capacity.
• Master’s degree in Journalism, Public Administration, Public Health, Education, Behavioral or Life Science, Mass Communications, English, Graphic Arts, Psychology, or Social Work from an accredited college or university may be substituted for one year of the required four years’ experience, excluding the two (2) years of supervisory experience.
• Must possess a valid State of California driver’s license.
