Salary:

$6,173 – $9,259 per month

Description:

•Responsible for a comprehensive fire protection program which includes developing, implementing and maintaining effective protocols and procedures for testing and maintenance of fire and life safety systems in court buildings and facilities.
•Assists liaison with the Office of the State Fire Marshal
•Creates database of lessons learned for new courthouse projects and facility modifications. Writes curriculum for and conducts training of Facilities Services staff on lessons learned from previous projects.
•Develops procedure to ensure correct scoping of facility modification projects
•Assists Project Managers with coordination of Fire and Life Safety issues with Construction Manager at Risk during Construction
 

Qualifications:

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, energy management, or building science, or a directly related field and three (3) years of experience in area of assignment. Additional directly related experience and/or education may be substituted on a year-for-year basis.

LICENSING AND CERTIFICATIONS
− Professional Engineer (PE)
− Valid driver’s license as assigned.

Desirable Qualifications:
− Licensed Fire Protection Engineer (Preferred)
