Salary:

$6,173 – $9,259 per month

Description:

.•Oversees facilities maintenance program for technical effectiveness, cost effectiveness, energy efficiency, and code compliance.
•Reviews A/E documents for compliance with mechanical, electrical, and plumbing codes and with JCC Trial Court Facilities Design Standards for capital and facility modification projects.
•Assist project management teams by establishing documentation requirements for most commonly performed facility modification project types such as generator replacement, cooling tower replacement, re-roofing, and elevator upgrades.
•Develops protocol for plan review, permitting, and inspection work for county-owned facilities. This task involves travel to county seats and negotiating agreements with county public works staff.

Qualifications:

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, energy management, or building science, or a directly related field and three (3) years of experience in area of assignment. Additional directly related experience and/or education may be substituted on a year-for-year basis.

LICENSING AND CERTIFICATIONS
− Professional Engineer
− Valid driver’s license as assigned.
