Salary:

$168,431 – $205,860. In addition, the District provides an excellent benefits package.

Description:

The Dublin San Ramon Services District provides water, wastewater, and recycled water to more than 159,000 people. Reporting to the General Manager, the Engineering Services Manager serves as District Engineer and as Department Manager for the Engineering Services Department. The Engineering Services Department has an annual operating budget of $4 million with 22 staff in the following functional areas: Capital Projects; Development Services; Utility Planning; Environmental Compliance; and GIS/Mapping. 

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will have an entrepreneurial spirit, be forward-thinking, and have a vision for the development of strategies that will continue to improve the effectiveness and efficiencies of the Engineering Services Department. This position requires 10 years of experience in the planning, design, and construction of large water distribution, wastewater collection, and/or wastewater treatment systems, including 5 years of supervisory or administrative experience. Bachelor’s required, Master’s preferred. California certificate of registration as a Civil Engineer is required; if registered out-of-state, must obtain California registration within 12 months from date of hire.
