Description:

The Department of Health Services is seeking an experienced, innovative leader who is passionate about community health improvement to fill one full-time vacancy; to be part of the Environmental Health and Safety Section’s program development team and work to support continuous quality improvement, accountability, fiscal responsibility, and the enhancement of innovative and proficient consumer and environmental protection programs.

Qualifications:

Graduation from an accredited college or university with major work in health science, public health, natural science, physical science, environmental science, or a related field and three years of experience at a level equivalent to the Senior Registered Environmental Health Specialist class within Sonoma County service. A Master’s degree in Public Health, Health Science, or Public Administration is highly desirable.
Professional License: Possession of a valid certification of registration as an Environmental Health Specialist in the State of California.
