Description:

The County of Santa Cruz is seeking a dynamic professional to plan, organize, direct and monitor the Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) Program which includes Title VII of the Civil Right Act (1964) and the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) Compliance Program for the County. The incumbent is responsible for developing, implementing and monitoring the County’s EEO Plan approved by the Board of Supervisors. The incumbent also serves as secretary to the County EEO Commission.

Qualifications:

The Requirements: Any combination of education and experience which would provide the required knowledge and abilities is qualifying, unless otherwise specified. A typical way to obtain the knowledge and abilities would be:

Four years of increasingly responsible professional personnel or labor related experience in the area of equal employment opportunity. A four-year degree from an accredited university in the area of public administration or law may be substituted for one year of experience.
