Description:

League of California Cities seeks well qualified candidates with association management or other relevant experience for the Executive Director (ED) position.

LCC is the statewide, nonpartisan, membership association of California cities, founded in 1898, with main office in Sacramento, the state capital, and 16 regional division offices. LCC represents its 482 member cities at the State Legislature, before state executive branch and regulatory agencies, in statewide ballot measure campaigns, in the courts, and on federal issues with the National League of Cities; and provides an array of other services to municipalities and municipal officials.

Qualifications:

The successful candidate should have a Master’s degree from an accredited institution, with a minimum fifteen years of progressively higher levels of responsibility in administration of governmental or association programs and services, demonstrated supervisory and organizational development ability, and relevant experience with intergovernmental issues and processes, or an equivalent combination of education, skills and experience.
