Executive Director

The Housing Authority of Kings County, California is searching for its next Executive Director. The Housing Authority provides vital services to the community. Its mission is to promote decent, safe, and affordable housing to low-income families in the County. Reporting to the Board of Commissioners, the Executive Director is responsible for the planning, development, and management of the Housing Authority staff and programs. Ideal candidates will have a strong understanding of public housing finances. Candidates should be experienced in building a top-notch management team and must be able to establish excellent working relationships with the Board, staff, Kings County Management and Development Corporation, customers and the community.

Qualifications:

Any combination of experience and training substantially equivalent to completion of a college education with at least three years of administrative experience in planning, coordination and financing of a large-scale program in business or public administration is required. Public Housing administration experience is expected.
