Description:

The Executive Director will be responsible for project management, funding, and community and governmental relations. This position is charged with overseeing the collaboration of the JPA member agencies, which may require reconciliation of competing interests.

Qualifications:

The JPA is seeking a candidate with enthusiasm, patience, integrity, excellent written and verbal communication skills, flexibility, and reliability in order to hit the ground running. The ideal candidate must have knowledge of transportation system development and transportation funding. The ability to multi-task and prioritize is essential for project delivery.

The ability to build and maintain strong relationships while maintaining a public presence is essential. The ideal candidate must also be capable of effectively administering and managing consultant contracts and have a working knowledge of federal funding requirements.

A Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited college or university in Engineering, Public Administration, Planning or a related field is required.
