$96,828 – $123,660

Description:

The Executive Director for the San Benito County Council of Governments (COG), who reports to the COG Board of Directors plans, organizes, directs, manages and coordinates transportation planning programs and projects with federal, state, and local agencies and also manages San Benito County Transit services. This Executive Director also participates and directs the analysis or preparation for special reports, projects, and studies; develops transportation policy recommendations and action plans.

Qualifications:

Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor’s degree in Urban or Regional Planning, Transportation Planning, Civil Engineering or a related field and five years of broad and progressively responsible transportation planning or engineering experience, including two years in a supervisory, managerial, or advanced level professional position, preferably with a city or county planning, public works or transportation department or a local/regional transportation planning agency.
