Located in northern California, Contra Costa County, extends from the northeastern shore of San Francisco Bay east to San Joaquin County. The Executive Director, manages a budget over $7.5 million and supervises 15 FTEs, will be a visionary leader passionate about boosting local economic vitality through workforce investment measures. Understanding the connection between education, workforce readiness and industry needs, the ideal candidate will leverage WDB’s resources and networks to promote economic development and job creation strategies. Individuals with governmental and administrative experience, and outstanding interpersonal and communications skills will be competitive for the position.
