Description:

The San Mateo County Transit District seeks an Executive Officer, District Secretary to be responsible for organizing the Boards of Directors meetings and ensuring agency-wide governmental transparency and responsiveness for the San Mateo County Transit District (SamTrans), Peninsula Corridor Joint Powers Board (Caltrain) and the San Mateo County Transportation Authority (TA). Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in business administration, public administration, or closely related field with six years full-time experience as a secretary to Boards of Directors, Councils, or Commissions that operate under the Brown Act, plus three years of management experience. Certified Municipal Clerks are desirable. Experience in records management is also desirable. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite. Must have effective oral and written communication and presentation skills.
