Description:

Facilities Manager manages all aspects of building maintenance. This position supervises two Building Services Supervisors and a Storekeeper II who work both morning and swing shifts. This individual works under the general direction of the General Services Agency Assistant Director.

THIS POSITION IS SUBJECT TO A FULL BACKGROUND REVIEW BY THE DISTRICT ATTORNEY’S OFFICE.

Qualifications:

Manager I – Requires a minimum of one year of work experience in facilities management or management level experience demonstrating the skills required to perform the duties in the flyer and graduation from an accredited four-year college or university with a degree in Public or Business Administration, or related field. (Progressively responsible experience in a related area may be substituted for the required education on a year-for-year basis).

Manager II – Requires a minimum of two years of work experience in facilities management or management level experience demonstrating the skills required to perform the duties in the flyer and graduation from an accredited four-year college or university with a degree in Public or Business Administration, or related field. (Progressively responsible experience in a related area may be substituted for the required education on a year-for-year basis).

DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS:
Three (3) years of supervisory experience
