Description:

Under direct supervision at the Facility Project Specialist I level and general direction at the Facility Project Specialist II level, manages the County’s capital improvement and construction projects from inception to completion. Please visit our website below for the complete job description.

Qualifications:

Education:
Equivalent to graduation from an accredited four-year college or university with major coursework in construction management, facilities planning, engineering, business administration, construction technology, or closely related field. Related experience may be substituted for up to two years of the education at a rate of two years of experience to one year of education.

Experience:
Facility Project Specialist I: In addition to the above education requirements, requires four years of progressively responsible experience in construction project management and capital projects planning; managing the construction and design of small to moderate size capital improvement and construction projects, ($50,000-$300,000).

Facility Project Specialist II: In additional to the above education and experience requirements, requires two years of experience managing progressively complex projects exceeding $300,000.
