Description:

The County of San Mateo Controller’s Office is seeking an experienced individual for the position of Financial Services Manager II. This position will provide management and staff support, financial guidance, administration and leadership within the Controller’s Office.

The Financial Services Manager II will assist in the development, implementation and interpretation of administrative policies and procedures, provide complex financial support to senior-level management and oversee all of the day-to-day administrative support functions. Duties will typically include finance, budget, administration, personnel management, purchasing, contract administration, clerical support, financial analysis, research, program evaluation and other related functions.

Qualifications:

Minimum qualifications include three years of work experience performing a wide variety of financial, managerial and administrative duties and knowledge of advanced principles and practices of organizational and systems analysis, research methods and human resource planning; principles of financial administration, including public budgeting and reporting; computer systems and financial applications; and personnel training, supervision and evaluation.
