Los Angeles Superior Court is seeking a dynamic, well-qualified and highly-motivated individual to fill the position of Director of Finance. Become part of the Los Angeles Superior Court, where you can give back to your community by working for justice and fairness.

The Director of Finance is responsible for management of the financial resources of the Court, which currently has an annual budget of $2.1 billion. This position serves as an internal consultant and advisor to Court management and Judicial Officers, providing highly responsible and complex financial assistance in budget, financial forecasting, accounting, revenue, legislative analysis and delinquent collection as well as develops, directs, and coordinates the implementation of goals, objectives, policies, procedures, and work standards for the finance functions; establishes, within Court policy, appropriate service and staffing levels.

Qualifications:

REQUIREMENTS: Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university with a major in Business or Public Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a closely-related field -AND- Five years of recent, progressively responsible, management-level experience overseeing complex financial services such as Budget and Expenditure Management, Revenue and Accounting, and/or Revenue Enhancement and Professional Appointee Court Expenditure for a court or public entity.
