Description:

There are currently three (3) full-time vacancies in the Department of Finance. Under general direction, the Financial Systems Analyst (FSA) performs advanced-level professional accounting work and provides project management and production support expertise. The FSA is responsible for end-user business solutions and systems administration functions necessary for the maintenance and enhancement of data systems specific to Department of Finance operations and the County’s financial needs, including accounting, payroll, purchasing, accounts payable and budget reporting.

Qualifications:

We recognize your time is valuable, so please do not apply if you do not have at least the following required Minimum Qualifications: Any five-year combination of recent professional experience and relevant coursework in both computer science and accounting, accounts payable and/or payroll that demonstrates the necessary knowledge and abilities. A typical way of achieving these requirements would be graduation with a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited program in accounting, finance, computer science or a related field and one year of full-time experience related to the work.
• Required educational experience is interchangeable with full-time related professional experience up to a limit of four years.
• Internships completed in conjunction with coursework are excluded from being credited towards work experience, if they are counted towards educational requirements.
• Recent experience is defined as experience gained, in part, in the last five years, or longer if technically relevant.
