Description:

This position works under the administrative direction of the Chief Executive Officer/Director of the Office of Emergency Services. The position has a dual responsibility of Fire Warden serving all fire districts within Stanislaus County and Assistant Director of Emergency Services leading the countywide emergency preparedness effort

Qualifications:

Three (3) years of experience of management level experience working in emergency response.  College level course work in Fire Safety, and/or certification as a State of California Fire Officer, Certified Emergency Manager, certified Incident Command System position instructor, Standardized Emergency Management System instructor, and/or experience as an instructor involving emergency services curriculum will be considered highly desirable.  Four year degree from an accredited college in a related field is highly desirable.
