Salary:

$134,010 – $171,926, Annually DOE

Description:

The Fiscal Systems Manager plans, develops, manages and implements the County’s enterprise financial systems and services. This position reports directly to the County Controller-Treasurer.

This position is responsible for County enterprise financial system implementation, development, administration and maintenance. Other typical management responsibilities include:
• Directs the review and evaluation of the County’s use of the enterprise financial systems and recommends development and selection of new or improved processes or systems;
• Develops and updates information systems Master Plan and participate with other managers to develop strategic plans; implement the plan; analyze new mandates and regulations for impact on systems and processes; change systems and procedures as necessary;
• Manages, through subordinate managers, the coordination of operation, maintenance and implementation support services provided by staff, contractors, outside vendors and the County Information Services Department;

Qualifications:

A qualified candidate would typically acquire the knowledge, skills and abilities listed below through attainment of a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college with major work in computer science, public or business administration, accounting, finance or a related field and five (5) years responsible experience managing a financial systems function in a mid to large-sized organization.
