The Placer County Water Agency Board of Directors is seeking its next General Manager – a proven leader who will assume this critical role and lead the Agency on its path of continued success for the people of Placer County. The General Manager will sustain the Agency’s successes as a regional and state leader in water resources, energy and stewardship. He or she will maintain the Agency’s culture of collaboration, teamwork and respect with the Board, employees and the public. The General Manager is an at-will, executive management employee, serving at the pleasure of the Board of Directors.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will be an energetic, self-motivated, dynamic leader with a strong work ethic and extensive leadership experience and accomplishments in the public sector. He or she will have a high regard and respect for public service, knowledge and understanding of California laws and challenges of a special district and a water resource and power generation agency and a successful record of facilitative leadership and participatory management.
