Description:

The Ventura Regional Sanitation District is an independent public waste management agency that serves eight cities and nine special districts in beautiful Ventura County. The District is seeking an experienced professional with outstanding judgment, management skills and integrity who will serve as the new General Manager of this diverse and highly technical organization.

Qualifications:

The General Manager is directly responsible for all affairs of the District, including administration, operations, engineering and support services. The position reports to a nine-member Board of Directors. A major area of emphasis for the new General Manager will be to secure an extension of the Toland Road Landfill operating permit, which expires in 2027.

Current and reciprocal members participate in a 2% @ 60 formula. New members participate at 2% @ 62 formula. The District has a generous health and benefit package.
