Description:

The General Services Director reports to the CEO and will enhance and support a departmental culture of professionalism and excellent customer service. The new Director will reinforce an environment that reflects open and honest communication, stewardship of financial resources, early involvement of customers in decision-making processes, investment in training and job enrichment for staff, and modeling a culture of safety. The Director oversees all functional divisions of the Department and coordinates resources and projects with the CEO and the Board of Supervisors. A diversity of key priorities makes this position a positive, exciting and professionally challenging assignment.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate for this position will have a team-based, engaged and active leadership style with excellent administrative and operational strengths combined with a strategic, big picture vision for the future. This position requires five or more years of executive level general services or similar executive experiences within a public agency. A Bachelor’s degree in a related field from an accredited college or university is required.
