Description:

The GIS Senior Analyst position will create ArcGIS Online applications, publish maps services, serve as project lead for GIS projects and staff of approximately 4-5 employees; perform high level spatial analysis for various county departments; and support the complex database developing effort of General Plan Update and similar projects. Programing such as HTML5, Python, and JavaScript is desirable. This position will require driving throughout the County of Riverside as required

Qualifications:

OPTION I

Six years of sub professional or professional GIS experience.

College courses preferably in one or more of the following; GIS, automated mapping, land surveying, geography, cartography, or computer science may substitute up to two years on the basis of 30 semester or 45 quarter units equaling one year of experience. A

OPTION II

One year of sub professional or professional GIS experience.

A Bachelor’s Degree preferably in computer science, geography, cartography or closely related field.
