The County of Sonoma is accepting applications for HRIS Manager in the Human Resources Department. The system includes Human Resources and Payroll functionalities. This position oversees the Human Resources aspect of the system.
The County operates in a complex environment with a variety of benefit plans, benefit levels, multiple union agreements, over 800 job classifications, 27 different departments and over 4,000 regular employees. The HRIS system is critical to the organization’s strategic goals and ability to pay and manage information on the County’s workforce. The positions essential responsibilities include:
• Process Improvement and Business Analysis
• Operational Support
• System Administration and Maintenance
• Reports/Metrics
• Training
• Project Management
• General Administration and Management

Qualifications:

Education & Experience: The equivalent to graduation from a four-year college with major coursework in business analysis, project management, management information systems, computer science, statistics, or closely related field; and four years of progressively responsible experience planning, developing and administering multiple, complex, information technology systems and applications, including one year of supervisory or lead responsibility for defining, planning and implementing automated information systems.
