$76,944 – $102,600/Annually

Description:

Under general supervision of the County Manager, the Human Resources Director is responsible for 1.0 FTE. The HR Director plans, develops and administers HR programs including recruitment, selection, compensation, benefits, training, performance evaluation, personnel policies, EEO and employee recognition. Serve on the negotiating team and facilitate negotiating planning; administer and interpret the collective bargaining agreements. Facilitate Risk Management and Safety programs.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university with major course work in Public Administration, Organizational Development, Business Administration, Personnel/Human Resources Administration or a related field; AND at least seven (7) years of experience in Human Resources management including three (3) year of administrative or supervisory responsibility; OR an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. Professional certification in Human Resources Management, and risk management is highly desirable.
