$102,000.00 – $144,000.00 Annually

Description:

The County of Kings is seeking a proven leader to lead and manage the Human Resources Department. This executive level at-will position reports directly to the Board of Supervisors. The Human Resources Director is responsible for leading, managing and administering all County human resource programs, functions, budgets and activities, and providing advisory support to the County Administrative Officer (CAO) and County department heads in all human resources related matters. The Human Resources Director is expected to model a strong work ethic and leadership skills. The County is seeking a leader who is confident, informed, assertive, and ethically sound who can provide a vision for the Human Resources Department, be a strong team builder, and provide exceptional customer service and support to the County of Kings.

Qualifications:

Education: Graduation from an accredited college or university in personnel, business or public administration or a closely related field.

Experience: Five years of broad and increasingly responsible experience in personnel administration, or closely related field, including three years of experience in a supervisory capacity.
