Salary: 

$71,448 to $102,600* (*Salary will be commensurate with experience.)

Description:

Plan, develop and administer Human Resources programs including recruitment, selection, compensation, benefits, training, performance evaluation, personnel polices, equal employment opportunity, safety and employee recognition. Negotiate and/or serve on the negotiating team and facilitate negotiating planning; administer and interpret the collective bargaining agreements. Facilitate our Risk Management and Safety programs. Provides general management support to County Manager.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university with major course work in Public Administration, Organizational Development, Business Administration, Personnel/Human Resources Administration or a related field; AND at least five (5) years of experience in Human Resources management including one (1) year of administrative or supervisory responsibility; OR an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.

DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS: A Master’s Degree and previous experience in the public sector in a similar capacity is highly desirable. Certification through the Society of Human Resources Management (SHRM) as either a Professional in Human Resources (PHR) or Senior Professional in Human Resources Management (SPHR).
