Salary: $6,352.22 – $7,716.21 per month

Description:

Human Resources Representative: Under general supervision, performs a variety of paraprofessional, technical and administrative support work in one or more specialized areas of Human Resources, including but not limited to: recruitment and selection, classification and compensation, risk management, benefits, employee and labor relations, volunteer services functions, HRIS, training and organizational development; and performs related work as required.

The ideal candidate will bring excellent interpersonal skills , computer expertise, be detail oriented and solution oriented. An individual who has a successful track record in benefits administration in local government. Someone who possesses the personal qualities of integrity, credibility and confidentiality. A typical candidate will have outstanding customer service and communication skills. Someone who has innovative ideas and the ability to take on new projects with ease, and also feels comfortable working independently.

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications: Education and Experience: Equivalent to completion of an associate of arts degree in Human Resources, business administration or closely related field, plus three years progressively responsible experience in Human Resources or closely related function. A Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration or closely related field may be substituted for up to one year of the required experience.
